Medical Brigade Update

By Christa Hoffmeier

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10

We started the day as we do every day at the Mission House with devotion. Today’s was led by the North Carolina team. We were privileged to be serenaded with a song written by a team member that was not with us in person, but with us in spirit. It was a perfect way to end the trip, and I want to share the words with you.

If Jesus Comes Back Tomorrow by Mary Ann Icenhour

If Jesus comes back tomorrow
Where will you be
Living the life he taught us
Or wandering aimlessly
Knowing the Great Commission
Where do you stand
Do you live your life as he taught us
Are you guided by His hand

Ask and it shall be given
Was Jesus invitation to all
Have you lived your life for others
Will you be ready when He calls
When you saw a stranger in need
Did you stop to lend a hand
Or did you turn and keep on walking
Afraid to take a stand

Did you reach out to others
The sick, the hopeless, the weak
Did you share Christ’s life story
Where you afraid to even speak

If Jesus comes back tomorrow
Where will you be
Living the life he taught us
Or wandering aimlessly

We packed and left for the airport – after delays in Tegucigalpa and Miami and some missed flight connections, it was a lucky few that made it home Saturday night! As I write this on Sunday night, all are now home safely.

The pictures posted today are from the Construction Brigade’s evangelism afternoon on Wednesday and a few of my favorites throughout the week from the Medical team.
