Medical Brigade Update

By Erik and Ulmira Loza

Today we were at a church about 20 minutes from the WGO mission house. This was Dr. Scarleth’s home church, and the members welcomed us with open arms and lots of hugs. They helped us in many ways: with evangelism, the children’s ministry, setting up, taking down, etc. They did extensive advertising so we saw more people than we expected, but we were very happy that we could reach so many with Christ’s love and Gospel. It was an exhilarating day and we are looking forward to what God will do tomorrow!

Today we saw a different face of the Honduran people. We saw happy faces. We saw teamwork in action, affection and love. We saw family solidarity among the members of the church. It’s incredible how the Lord can work in the lives of people by giving them joy even in the midst of economic challenges. It’s an example for me to see that joy in the face of adversity. We are learning a lot in Honduras.

Concrete Ministry Update

By Jody Crockett

What an amazing day full of amazing moments. Kevin, Chris, Danny, Mark Harden and Jody were able to put a brand new concrete floor in a church building in Nuevo Capital neighborhood. God allowed us to do a two-day job in the space of only one day with the joyful help of the church’s members. The ages of the workers ranged from about 6 years old to 55 years of age and the Lord of ages used all of us to His benefit. Praise be to God for allowing us to serve Him.

Construction Update

By Gerry Werth

More joint compound was applied, second and third coat on most of the walls and ceiling. We sanded and varnished books cases, only 20 to do....we still have 6 to go. Several men also finished the bathrooms by putting up the drywall. Everyone has sore arms!!! God has richly blessed us. Good night from Rancho Ebenezer
